We love this hotel. Stayed many times whilst it was Le Meridian and now even better with Marriot and the 30 Million refurbishment. Stayed from 9-15th Nov and nothing disappointed us again. There was some early morning noise from a building site and when I mentioned this we were moved to the other side of the hotel, no problem, The one thing this hotel does very well is it’s breakfasts. We have stayed at other 5 Star hotels which I will not mention and they are not as good as the Marriott. All the staff are excellent, professional and friendly , including the General manager who made a point of visiting the pool area and asking the guest if all was good with their stay. Outstanding ! The bar staff should also get a mention as I threw some cocktails at them which were not the standard and they stepped up to the mark. In our eyes this hotel is rated as good as any of the other 5 Star hotels in Malta. We’ll be back again!

We stayed here for New Year's for 5 nights. Winter is normally low season, and while there is some more activity during New Year's, the hotel was far from full. We had booked a King Room and were upgraded to a Club Room on the 12th floor and got a complimentary bottle of red wine. Our balcony looked out on Baluta Bay and I can recommend putting in the extra cash for the sea view (the other side looks out over a parking lot). There is an outdoor pool and terrace on the 12th floor, with the M Club on the 13th floor. There is a happy hour with wine, drinks and snacks from 5 to 7 p.m. The spa, indoor pool and gym are located on the 2nd floor. Due to the pandemic, you had to reserve a two-hour slot for the pool or one-hour slot for the gym in advance via the spa reception. We also had a treatment, which was not cheap, but totally worth the investment. Breakfast is in the 2nd floor "Marketplace", and generally worth it. There is a predictably long wait at the omlette station due to high demand, but generally the "assisted buffet" worked great. The location is great, right on Baluta Bay, in between St. Julian's and Paceville (10-15 min walk) and Sliema (20 min walk to the Sliema Waterfront and Valetta Ferry). The drive to the airport is 15 minutes by taxi or Bolt (the local Uber equivalent). Finally, everyone of the staff was very friendly and forthcoming, and we can only highly recommend staying here!

We’ve just finished a wonderful stay at the Malta Marriott. The hotel is tastefully styled and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our sea view room was clean and well stocked, and the view out over the bay was beautiful day or night. We spent many hours at the rooftop pool which had plenty of loungers. Food, both at the pool bar and the main restaurant was excellent. The breakfast options were many and plentiful with COVID safe service from the staff. The hotel would suit couples slightly more than families, but kids are welcome of course. A nice touch was the manager would make frequent visits to many of the area and would stop and talk with many of the guests. The location of the hotel was well placed on the sea front with plenty of bars and restaurants a short stroll away. It’s definitely a place I would like to return to.

We love this hotel and have stayed many times as Le Meridian and now as Marriott. With a 30 million euro refit it's fantastic. The staff are professional, welcoming an food is excellent. We could not fault our stay. We had a slight issue with noise from the building site and the General Manager kindly moved us to a quieter side. I also noticed he was asking guest if they were enjoying their stay whilst on his daily walk about. You don't see this very often!! This hotel and Malta is the perfect island to get a last blast of sunshine before the winter sets in at home. See you next year! Thanks you.

We've had a wonderful experience at this hotel! It's a clean, and beautiful place, great location with awesome views, and easy access to the beach and restaurants. The staff was super friendly, courteous and professional. All in all, the staff and the atmosphere of the hotel contributed largely to make our holidays a great experience.
